There’s a great big world of Carry out there, and without the time to Road Test every piece of it, we figured it was time to introduce a new segment to our regulars… called ‘Checking Out’. It’s where we give a quick overview of interesting carry brands; either makers we haven’t covered before or New Kids On The Block like Esther Porter.

Esther Porter bags are designed and handmade in East London from meticulously sourced materials (their TENT series for the gents is made with reclaimed tents from the previous summer’s festivals!) Responsibly sourced materials aim to imbue both integrity and durability to each piece, including a veg tanned leather from a Tuscan tannery that looks pretty sweet.

A real mix of shapes, closures and materials give Esther Porter a fun vibe somewhere between Ally Capellino and Poler. We’re looking forward to seeing more of these guys in the future.
