We’ve been back an forth with the friendly chaps at Bergans a few times and now have some interesting imagery to share with you – a good history lesson is anything…

Kinda crazy to look at these photos and see what bags/carry/rucksacks, etc have evolved from. Bergans have been around for over 100 years, which is a pretty big milestone. During their 100th year anniversary they put together a real neat book – ‘A Century of Adventure’. The book goes into detail all about the history of the brand, the evolution of their products and where they’re at these days.

It’s really quite interesting to see what was getting used for packs way back when and watching, via the images, the transformation into what we use today. Even ten years ago you look at it an marvel…
