What key insights drive your stuff?

We love genuine products and fashion in general; finding new trends, imagining new products and developing new ideas for bags.

We love to go to the workshop in the South of France, and work with craftsmen on product development, looking for the right silhouette, finding the right place for stitching, brainstorming, and together finding the best solution for new designs and new styles.

Who else is doing rad things in the world of carry? And why do you think they’re important…

The French brand Hermès for their fantastic know-how. They contribute to a certain vision of French heritage and know-how.

Makr and Filson are also beautiful brands, closer to our territory.

What one product are you most proud of and why?

We are very proud of our bag called Scott, which is inspired by the bag of the writer Scott Fitzgerald.

It emanated following a special request from an American guy who loved our products and was looking for a special bag for his girlfriend. We decided to follow his request and create it. The result was great and we decided to add the product to our collection. Today this bag is actually one of our bestsellers!

Are there any things other brands do that you think are great or could be improved?

All brands with true values, respecting ethical and environmental values are examples to follow.

What’s next for you guys?

A lot of work, but one of the best projects is a second collaboration together with Blitz Motorcycles, a fantastic brand of customized motorcycles. We are sharing our common know-how to develop the best products adapted to motorcycling needs. The launch of the new collaboration is planned for April 2015.

What do you carry daily and how? 

I carry the Eclair bag. It’s large and very convenient. I easily put my laptop in, plus some documents and other stuff. I use it when I ride my bicycle in town, or for a short trip of 48 hours. This enables me to also validate the functional side of the product, or even improve small details before production.
