Boreas takes to tactical

If you’re a fan of Boreas and have been hoping the brand would branch out into carry with a more military feel, your wait is over. Thanks to the success that they have experienced so far with their Bootlegger collection, Boreas decided to expand on it. One of the new additions is the Kezar, a tactical styled daypack that can be utilised with the Boreas Modular Super Tramp Suspension. The hidden daisy chains enable items to be attached to the exterior of the pack, while a hydration port and waterproof front pocket are also built in for added functionality.

Wine on wheels

There’s nothing quite like a glass of wine after a hard day’s work (or alternatively working up to a night of hard partying). However, whether you’re bringing it home from the shops or meeting up with friends, transporting a bottle of wine by bike isn’t necessarily the easiest task. Do you go with a bag-carrying option, perhaps wrapping the bottle in a protective jersey or blanket before sticking it in a backpack and hoping both survive the journey? In all likelihood your bottle will probably be fine but what if you want to go bag-free? Do you opt for the perilous grip-one-handlebar-and-one-wine-bottle-and-pray-to-Bacchus approach (which in all likelihood isn’t going to end well)? A much simpler option is the Oopsmark vegan bicycle wine rack which attaches to most bicycle frames and is made out of recycled bike tires. Mission Workshop welcomes the VX-21 collection into the family pack

Mission Workshop have rolled out their new VX-21 collection of R6 Field Packs and accessories incorporating a 210 denier packcloth that has been strengthened with a ripstop nylon grid and which features a PET waterproof membrane backing. The packs also have a urethane coated ripstop liner. The collection comes in a choice of three colorways, namely Orange, Black and Camo so you can go stealth or go bold depending on your preferences. The accessories are compatible with the Cordura and Waxed Canvas versions of the R6 Field Pack, so if you already have one of these packs you can play with the look by choosing accessory colorways of your choice.

Soon-to-be-released offerings for Mystery Ranch fans to snap up

If you love Mystery Ranch you’ll soon be able to appreciate them even more with the Snapdragon and Expandable 3-Way Briefcase. The Snapdragon had previously been released before but thanks to the brand’s Philippines production plant the Snapdragon now slides in at just under the $200 mark. However, in addition to the Snapdragon the folks at Mystery Ranch have been busy working on their expandable 3-way briefcase which, as the name suggests, can be carried three ways. The grab handle enables it to be carried like a briefcase and the strap allows you to sling it over one shoulder. The third carrying option comes courtesy of the hidden shoulder straps which can be used to carry the bag as a backpack. Both bags are due to start shipping in early June but can be pre-ordered now if you’re itching for some new MR gear.
